quickly, quickly is the project of Portland, Oregon’s Graham Jonson, who will return with new album, I Heard That Noise, on April 18th via Ghostly International.

Ahead of its release he’s shared lead single “Enything”, a track that somehow sounds so positive and lively, while also serving up a firm hold of melancholy. There’s a dreamy nature to it all that firmly delivers vocals with such an infectious stone that its hard to not become instantly transfixed by it. It reminds of acts like Phantom Planet, Jens Lekman, and Nada Surf all at once, while also sounding very much like its own thing at the same time.

Speaking on the track, Jonson adds:

“I wrote this song from a fictional place of dumb love. There is a place you can find yourself in where you are so infatuated with a person you would do anything to impress them, even to a fault, drastically changing yourself to match the idea of someone you barely know. That is what I tried to embody on this one.”
