Elskavon is the electronic-cinematic project of Minneapolis-based musician Chris Bartels, who is set to release new album, Panoramas, via Western Vinyl on June 20th.
“How Cold” is its lead single, a haunted blend of electronic pop in a ballad form that has a Bon Iver-esque nature to it with a majestic and stirring atmosphere that feels transportive. The blend of piano with the glitchy electronic vocals works some real wonders, crafting a cinematic feeling of magic that hits all the right notes emotionally.
