Freya Arde is a classically trained German composer and guitarist who “reflects on life through her music.” and recently released her debut album, E C H O.
One of the album highlights is single “Farewell”, that features electric guitar and cello, to create a haunting piece of classical music that delivers heartbreaking sonic imagery that feels tailor-made for a devastating cinematic moment in a film to soundtrack unbearable heartbreak. Yet, there is also a hopeful beauty to it that has elements of bands like Explosions In The Sky.
