Cosmic Crooner, the project of Dutch singer-songwriter Joep Meyer, is preparing for the release of new album, European Vacation, which is due out on May 2nd.
Ahead of its release he’s shared a handful of singles, including “Rebeccula”, a gorgeous blast from the past, classic strings, heartfelt vocals, and a bit of a crooner vibe that feels like its from a time when life was much simpler.
Equally stirring is the smooth flowing riverbed of tightly narrated classic lounge-esque rock/pop, with some The Last Shadow Puppets and new era Arctic Monkeys in its neatly arranged set of instrumentations. You can just envision seeing it soundtrack a gorgeous film shot on CinemaScope.
