Minneapolis’ Field Hospitals are a band that come from a love of jangle rock, which can be heard on their wonderfully jangly single “Sister Jane” which will appear on their upcoming EP, Ethel Green.
The track channels the heart of REM along with modern jangly indie rock acts such as Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, and Ducks Ltd. There’s a great energy and flow to the track, which captures a melancholic spirit that cuts deep in a raw but poignant fashion.
