Vases is the moniker of Los Angeles based musician, Ty Baron who has recently returned with his new single “Broadcast Colors.”
Its a song about “the bittersweet feeling of reflecting on a lost relationship” that channels elements of 80s new wave with a glossy nature and packed with elements of melancholy, bringing to mind some of the work of Future Islands and New Order. There’s a genuine emotive quality here that summons a tone of feelings of lost love and holding onto hope desperately.
