Byland, the Seattle-based project of singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Alie Renee Byland, recently teamed up with The Bones of J.R. Jones (Jonathon Linaberry) for their new single “Jubilee.” They connected after a string of live dates together and decided to combine forces for a song of their own.
“Jubilee” is a powerful force of alt country and folk, with a genuine and emotive nature that has some beautifully composed moments of heartfelt and sincere emotion. The production allows it to breathe new life to the genre, while also bringing a ton of classic influences to the genre.
