Australian indie rockers Scared of Sharks released their new EP, Double Happiness, last December via Valley Records.
“Last Train To Wyong” is a highlight off the record that is a story about the night their drummer Tim Shady “got too cooked at a rave in Sydney lost his keys, phone, wallet and then proceeded to catch the train to Wyong (North) instead of Wollongong (South).”
It’s a playful and sly blend of indie punk and garage rock that has a loose slacker feel to it, with some cheeky observational lyrics that combine to sound something like Yard Act meets Sleaford Mods.
