While many of his previous releases capture a more ambient-leaning nature, this a minimal folk offering with some piercing storytelling and a rather gentle intimate nature. Its stripped-down nature gives it a 90s feel, with some hypnotic instrumental and production flourishes that close it out is mesmerizing fashion.
