The Ophelias have announced their new album Spring Grove, which is the first album Julien Baker has produced for another aritst. It’s out on April 4th via their new label, Get Better Records. With the announcement comes the release of new single “Cumulonimbus.”
The track features a wistful and reflective nature to it also felt with its themes. A blend of 90s indie rock and folk that has an emotional authenticity that taps into something raw and authentic. It’s perfeclty paired with Baker’s production flourishes that have hints of her own work. It was one of the first songs written for the album, “looking back at the dissolution of a relationship with compassion and regret.”
Find its music video below, which was shot by Paige Hochstatter. You can also find the tracklist and their upcoming tour dates as well.
