Chicago-based indie rockers Poster Girl recently returned with their new single “All For One”, a track about growing up.
There’s a heartfelt nature to its vocal performance and sonic construction, with a stirring blend of indie rock with a 90s alt rock and pop blend into something quite stirring and resonant. It has a slow build but picks up some significant steam as it goes along and builds up with a genuine emotional heft.
Speaking on the track the band adds:
This song is about growing up. When you’re chasing a good time but realize the people you’re with aren’t really there for you. In the end you feel alone in a sea of people. You feel like you’re growing apart from the things you used to, the people you used to surround yourself with and from who you used to be.
