j.paul is a “internet art project” from New Jersey who released his new Clementines EP in December. We previously shared one of its tracks “Used To” and today highlight single “Can I Call You Up?”, a song about “finding new love, and trying to compete for it.”
It was recorded at his home studio in New Jersey with a slick and dreamy bedroom pop quality with elements of r&b with a smooth and groovy nature that feels readymade for a chill night out on the town during summer.
