SIKADE is a the project of Oslo, Norway-based singer-songwriter, harpist and producer, Linnea Vestre.
“vermilion” is a recent single from her upcoming debut album (we shared previous single “bloody moon”), described as “a fragmented story of obsession, intoxication and decay, revolving around the symbolism of a beautiful, but highly toxic red pigment.”
It’s an ethereal and dreamy piece of chamber folk and indie with a gorgeous set of production and a warm nature. The harp and vocal combination delivers something that feels like its from a different galaxy, blending the worlds of artists such as Joanna Newsome and Imogen Heap.
