Unlettered is a post-punk project led by multi-instrumentalist Mike Knowlton – member of bands such as Gapeseed and Poem Rocket. Last November he returned with Unlettered’s new album, Five Mile Point, which saw him welcome his wife, Kelly Grimm, as a collaborator.
The album features moody and dark post punk inspired tracks such as single and album highlight “Leave Behind.” There’s an old school NYC art rock and punk influence to the single which delivers a tight and haunted broodign atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression.
