Bristol-based indie rockers hamburger returned in November with their new EP, Beat Back The Ghouls, via Specialist Subject Records.
“Frankenstein” is a highlight and single from the EP, which sparkles with pristine 90s indie elements, that starts off with a gentle refrain before slowly and steadily expanding its reach.
Or as they put it:
“Frankenstein thrums with the longing melancholy of summers’ past. It shifts between emotive lilting melodies, driven guitar hooks, singalong choruses and warm dreamy fuzz leaving a tender impression of lost time, lost innocence and lost love.”
