Nashville folk duo Camper recently returned with their EP, Cold Weather, which is highlighted by the single and title track.
Its a gorgeous and tender slice of confessional bedroom folk and indie with a barebones and confessional nature about it. There’s a hushed and honest quality to it, that recalls artists like Adrianne Lenker and Big Thief, with its heart and emotions worn on its sleeves in confident and precise matter.
Or as they describe it:
Cold weather is a single full of heartbreak and calm that embodies the winters stillness. It was recorded live to tape to capture the emotional vulnerability of the tracks words and melodies.
