It was an interesting year of music that felt like it featured as many new releases on a weekly basis as ever before. It’s harder than ever to keep track of all the new music begging to share our time – not like it’s our job or anything.
We shared our best albums of 2024 list yesterday and today we shared the best songs on those albums, and in-between. While the albums showcase the very best bodies of work, songs allow for little glimpses or snapshots of greatness between everything else.
Of course, this is a reminder that this is really our favorite list, rather than best (but of course that is better for SEO, come on!). No rules, we list as many songs from certain artists as we want. Because 2025 is the year we stop giving a damn what others think.
