Settling… is an indie electronic solo project based out of Oklahoma City. They recently won us over with their vibrant and stirring single “Roll It.”
The track was inspired by a lot of Dungeons and Dragons that they were playing at the time. It features a vibrant and playful nature that takes us back a bit to some of the early 2010s indie electronic of that era, such as Discovery, Passion Pit, and Neon Indian.
Speaking on the track, they add:
“At the time that I wrote this song I was playing a lot of DND. It inspired my song writing alot. We would have a good game and I would go home and have a ton of lyrical or tonal ideas from the session. I also was reading a ton of high fantasy at the time so I was pretty locked in. I wanted this song to be about starting an adventure and not knowing if you’re cut out for it.”
