Roma NYC is the project of Brooklyn-based musician Andrew Francini whose shared a handful of singles this year including “Nostalgia” and “Evernone”.
“Recover” was the fourth single that Francini released over four months, a track that looks about our relationship to dreams and our sense of self. The track has elements of classic indie folk with 90s esque elements that have a significant and sincere emotional punch and heft – also calling to mind artists like Alex G.
Speaking on the track, they add:
I do believe everyone’s inner teen is such an influential part of the conscious/subconscious. We all have deep, authentic desires, dreams and aspirations that are the true identity to each and every one of us.
