Italian artist, producer, pianist and composer Federico Albanese will release his new album, Blackbirds And The Sun Of October, on February 7th via XXIM Records.
The album was inspired by – and entirely written and recorded in – Albanese’s home region of Monferrato in Northern Italy.
It’s lead single and title track “Blackbirds and the Sun of October” is a gorgeous piece of classical music that is built through a modern lens and ambient quality. Pretty arrangements that cast an enchanting spell that paints a vivid sense of place.
