Liverpool indie rockers KEYSIDE have returned in earnest with their single “Rhianna, Please Don’t Cry”, a song described as “boy meets girl and a hopeless crush plays out.”

The jangle pop track takes a modern twist on classic pop songs of yesteryear, with some infectious choruses that feel like they came out of both the early 2000s NME days and 60s classic pop songwriting. Its message of “following the beat of your heart as a route of escape” has never sounded so good.
