German-based band Noir Reva teamed up with fellow countrymen There’s a Light, for their split EP, Anam Cara, which was released last month via Broken Youth Records.
“Fjara” is the EP’s closing track, a hypnotic swell of emotive post rock, which castes a cinematic spell of atmosphere and a feeling of longing. It carries the torch of greats of the genre such as Explosions In The Sky, patiently letting its heartbreaking story unfold in a pace that only enhances its power.
