GL James is an Los Angeles-based artist that makes songs “based on feeling”, such as their most recently shared single “SLOW DANCE.” Its the second single to released from their upcoming EP, IN BETWEEN.

It features a blend of indie bedroom pop with a slight slacker twist to it, reminiscent of some early Mac DeMarco, Real Estate, and a bit of the sort of blog rock sound that we cut our teeth with in the late 2000s. It feels like the comedown from a chilled out summers day, with influences from bygone eras of pop.

Clocking in at 90 seconds, it delivers its message in an efficient manner that just begs to be replayed. Enjoy a listen now below.
