Mental Map are a band that shared their self-titled debut album back in September via Crunch Tapes.
The album features lush shoegaze inspired cuts like standout single “Snow in June.” It features some hypnotic lush vocals perfectly matched with reverb heavy guitars and a shimmering dreamlike quality that makes it seem like you are floating peacefully into the sky.
Or as they put it:
Snow in June is about the once in a lifetime experience for someone who’s never seen poplar fluff mid-June, swirling all around and vividly resembling snow flakes.
This phenomenon comes with abnormal sudden temperature changes and ends with a powerful storm.
