Glaswegian ambient duo Cahill//Costello returned earler this month with their sophomore collaborative album Cahill//Costello II, released via Gearbox Records.
“Ae//FX” is a standout single from the album, one that starts off with gorgeous synths with a cinematic hue to it, before welcoming in scattered drum hits that helps it blossom into something fully-fledged and widescreen in nature. It’s a track full of life, but also piercing with a sense of melancholy throughout it’s impressive 15-minute runtime.
