Shoegaze band Mondaze will release return with their sophomore album, Linger, on November 22nd via Bronson Recordings.
They have recently shared the album’s title track, a song that explores memory and nostalgia – with lyrics that mirror “the battle to suppress memories that resurface uncontrollably.”
It chugs along with powerful blissful guitar riffs that emulate some of the finest shoegaze bands of the era, with elements of modern minds of the genre such as DIIV. They deftly capture that feels of melancholy and nostalgia, all while delivering some sharp guitar work that absolutely soars and pairs brilliantly with the hazy nature of the vocals.
