Hamburg dream-pop duo Roller Derby have recently returned with their new single “Ready To Forget”, a track that features their ever-present dream-laden sound but a noticeable evolution as well.
There’s a shimmering quality to the track which hypnotic guitar work and a very upbeat danceable groove, paired with the always lush vocals of singer Philine Meyer. The track packs in an upbeat melody, along with a vibrant quality – yet still displaying a strong sense of melancholy that hits all the right notes.
