Norway’s Ola Kvaløy, of the acclaimed indie-pop band Lano Place, is preparing for the release of his new album, which will be released in early 2025.
Ahead of its release he’s given us a taste with its lead single “Breathe Out, Breathe In” a song that “meditates on crossroads, encouraging deep breaths and concentration on the core when facing a pivotal moment in life.”
It’s a warm classic style of folk-inspired songwriting, with humane lyrics and some tender arrangements and flourishes that give it a pretty and wholesome nature that packs a significant and rather sincere emotional punch.
