New York rockers Miranda and the Beat will return with their new album this fall via Ernest Jenning Record Co.  – which will feature the previously shared “Earthquake Water”.

They have since followed it up with the rip-roaring follow-up single “Manipulate Me.” The track is a blast from the past of old school New York City punk rock from a different era. It wastes no time and hits you square in the nose with a fierce delivery that is just begging to be heard live where the floor is soaked with cheap beer.

Detailing the song, the band’s Miranda Zipse adds:

“This song was probably the most fun to write for the album. We were all in King Khan’s studio getting wine drunk and spitballing lines back and forth. We pretty much spent the whole time rolling on the floor dying of laughter, which ended up being very therapeutic and what we needed to do at the time. This song’s about some real shit and it felt really good to get it out of our system in the form of an absolute fuckin banger. Moral of the story: always be a weirdo but never be a manipulative creep.”
