Bristol-based indie-risers Make Friends recently shared their new EP, Loaded Fun, via Ignition Records. The track was produced by Bombay Bicycle Club’s Ed Nash, who helps lead the four-piece down a new musical chapter.
“Maybe Tomorrow” is a particular highlight from the EP, one that does carry some of the lineage of Bombay Bicycle Club’s DNA. There is a lively colorful spirit to the track, one well built with flourishes and confident arrangements that soar with a sense of widescreen ambition, while also delivering a significant melancholic punch.
