Leyya are an indie duo from Austria who returned in August with their new album, Half Asleep, via Minor Changes.
One of the highlights off the record is the airy and vibrant single “Hundred Or More”, one that blends colorful and vibrant production and instrumentaiton with light airy vocals that take on a warm summerish tone and pop spirit that feels like its readymade for perfect placement during a scene in a film or TV show. There are traces of bands such as Sylvan Esso running through its DNA in the way it blends instrumentation and electronics into something warm and inviting.
