EVNTYD (pronounced ‘eventide’) is the Austin, Texas-based project of Julián Berdegué, who last month released a new double single, which featured “Ever Left.”
“Ever Left” reckons with “the expiration date on the horizon, so to speak, accelerated by one’s heedless actions. It’s an urgent rally cry to press forward against raising stakes.” There’s a bit of an early 2010s indie rock and post punk sound, blended with a haunted melancholic presence that packs a moody nature and atmosphere that hits with a precise confidence.
