Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based indie rockers Webb Chapel returned with the release of their new album, World Cup, which was released on September 6th via Strange Mono Records.

“Shipping Containers Anonymous” is a dark tinted slice of post punk with a sinister nature and some raw guitar licks and production that lay down the perfect atmosphere for the droney vocals right over them. There’s an old school punk influence to it all that just hits right in a primal and genuine fashion.

On the song, the band’s Rachel Gordon says:

“This one is dedicated to all the freight traveling across this great nation. One need only jump on the highway to wonder how much contraband is flowing by in the right lane.  Maybe one of the trucks is full of snakes? Evidence?  What if the snake truck got mixed up with the evidence truck?  Would anyone notice? Would anyone care? After all one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. What better way to celebrate this concept than at the American Treasure Tour museum. That’s where we filmed this video. It contains ephemera from an era long gone.”
