New York-based producer and DJ Vitesse X, returned with sophomore album, This Infinite, on October 4th. The album is described as “an exercise in anti-perfectionism, a sort of musical purging for the artist that she refers to as a “somatic release.”
One of the album highlights is “Get in Girls”, a collaboration with Finnish art-pop duo Pearly Drops. The track captures a blend of vibrant yet haunted electronic pop with a strong emotional resonance, blended with some hypnotic electronic elements. Like a blend of Grimes, Purity Ring, and The XX / Jamie xx.
