airship81 is the new solo project from Paul Bradshaw, a british native, born and raised in Luxembourg.
He’s recently shared his new single “Tortex” a blend of electronic a synthwave, with flourishes of math and post rock that give it a strong deviation from the rest of the pack. There are elements of Tycho and Bonobo, with a more dance-leaning quality, but plenty of singular qualities of his own.
Speaking on the track, Bradshaw adds:
an uptempo midtempo song by my standards =) draws on some math rock/post rock style influences along with some surprises along the way, but still in the retrowave domain
