This Friday will see Italian psych band Cosmic Room 99 release their self-titled debut album on October 11th.
“Plastic Venus” is its lead single and a pummeling rocker with elements of punk, psych, and a 90s Brit rock element. Like a blend of The Horrors, Oasis, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, there is a bold confidence in it that has retro qualities delivered in a way that they own and deliver in epic fashion.
Or as they put it:
“Everything is fiction, everything is altered, everything is seen through filters, nowadays even Venus is made out of Plastic”.
