Soft No are a Philadelphia band who released their self-titled debut EP in August via Abandon Everything Records. “Melting Timelines” is a highlight from the release, one described as a song about “the weight of existential dilemma.”

It’s a rocking blistering cut that takes us back to the mid 2000s and the burgeoning music blog scene, with some epic guitar work and a raw garage rock sensibility that reminds of bands such as No Age and Fucked Up.

Speaking on the track, the band adds:

“It’s that feeling when you decide to grow up, stop partying all the time and get a “real job” but you’re clueless about how to navigate this new life. You’re looking in the mirror and have no idea who’s looking back at you.”
