PORTEOUS is a multi-instrumentalist, artist, and songwriter that has recently released their new single, “Fake ID.” It’s the third single from his upcoming EP, IDIO.
It’s a groovy and funky blend of indie pop and rock with a seductive groovy bassline and polished style of production. There is a youthful nature to it all, one that packs some smart pop hooks to its infectious chorus.
Speaking on the single he adds:
For this production, I wanted to incorporate the music I listened to at 16, think Bombay Bicycle Club, Foals, and MGMT; the end result is an all encompassing mix of the things that made me into the artist I am now.”
