Australian-based band Fan Girl will return with their new EP, Real Or Staged, on September 5th, via AWAL Recordings.
Ahead of the release they have shared single “Little Pig” a track that has a big pummeling rock energy with a raw power to it that reminds of bands like Cage The Elephant and Liily (and even some, Ok Go?). It has a anthemic crunch and scope that hits all the right notes.
Speaking on the track, the band adds:
“The track came together almost instantly. Dropped in our laps, like an otherwise unwanted bag of potatoes. And we were so ready to make some chippies. With ‘little pig’, we just wanted to make something sprawling, wonky and grand. Samples, strings, phasers, double drums. The full buffet.
