Fontaines D.C. have shared new single “Here’s The Thing”, the third to be taken from their upcoming fourth album, Romance, due out August 23rd via XL Recordings. The track is released via an epic cinematic music video directed by lauded director Luna Carmoon.

The track is another stunner from the band who continues to poke and prod into new sonic dimensions of their sound. It’s an epic barnburner that was written days before the band entered the studio to record the album. There’s a tense anxiety to it that is perfectly captured through the video.

Speaking on the track, frontman Grian Chatten adds:

“It’s an anxious tune that twists and turns in what it wants, back and forth between pain and numbness. It’s an urgent song, searching for autonomy in emotional extremes.”

Enjoy the music video which we have shared below.
