Cincinnati, Ohio-based dreamgazers Sungaze have recently returned with their new single “So Light”, their answer to the question of what if they made a “heavy sounding song that wasn’t lyrically negative?”

The end result is a blissful anthemic shoegaze that sounds like a sunset come to life in audio form. Very Sharon Van Etten in its emotional and larger-than-life approach, one that is honed in with a stronghold emotional center.

Or as they put it:

This track is about confronting outdated beliefs, recognizing the role we play in our own suffering, and learning to let go of the things that sting, in favor of opening ourselves to the freedom that comes from walking away.
