Kinkajous is the London-based outfit of drummer / producer Benoît Parmentier and saxophonist Adrien Cau. They have announced their new album, Nothing Will Disappear, will be released on October 18th via Nottingham’s Running Circle label.

Ahead of its release the group has shared the gorgeous single “Heliosphere”, a blend of jazz and electronic music that molds into something with a mystique and aura of its own. Think Tycho meets Kamasi Washington. There is a distinct vision to be found here, one that has us intrigued to hear the rest of the album.

Speaking on the single, Parmentier adds:

“Heliosphere emerged from a singular vision—a creation that materialised in an instant. We wanted to give it an almost architectural quality, building upon linear layers that evolve ceaselessly, drawing listeners into a trance-like state. Our approach was intentionally minimalist, with a focus on raw, potent energy, achieved through a restrained selection of elements and synths.”
