Corner Brook, Newfoundland synth pop duo Bus People released their debut album, Starcade, on May 31st. It’s the first release from Milltown Records – a new Laughing Heart Music imprint created to serve artists in Western Newfoundland.
“Luck” is a lo-fi charming of a dream popper, that reminds of early Beach House from its star-gazing arrangements and vocals which are packed with elements of hope and nostalgia. This is the sort of pure pop songwriting that feels like it is a lost gem from the 90’s.
