Phantom Sugar is the project of Canadian musician Stevie Zita, who has recently released his wonderful new single “Too Psycho.”
The track takes us back to the early 2010’s blog rock days, with a dreamy bit of indie rock with elements of The Strokes/Julian Casablancas, with a charm of its own.
It’s an authentic and crisp slice of no-nonsense indie rock that hits all the right marks and will sneak its way into your head, where you won’t be able to stop singing it. It even ends abruptly in a way that feels very Strokes-esque.
