Beaks is the Austrian-based project of musician Anna Francesca, who is preparing the release of her debut album, which will be released via Sumoclic.
She’s since shared its single “Dirty Girls”, a track that features a dark atmospheric slice of post-punk with a hypnotic groove and presence that feels like a blend of Sorry and Wet Leg, with a distinct sharp edge to it that kicks off right at the getgo.
Speaking on the track, she adds:
“Sometimes days feel like I’m sleepwalking with open eyes. The world becomes like a bluetooth device scanning and scanning into nothing. Lots of times Ive tried to describe the barrier between the world and myself, it was always just so hard to put it in words.”
