English rockers The Preventions have taken us back with their debut single “All In Good Time”, a track that feels like it could have come out during the heydey of the 2000s NME.
There’s a breezy nature charm to the indie rock and garage rock blend that has an anthemic and raw nature to it. Punchy with elemnets of acts of the era like The View and The Libertines, with a spark and youthful vigor that just shines through in a charming and seemingly effortless manner.
Detailing the single, the band adds:
The song was written during the pandemic and reflects both the struggles and hopes of that time. The opening line “I’m stuck in purgatory” screams of the uncertainty we have all endured of late, but somehow transitions into a glistening romantic message of hope, delivered through a stadium-worthy outro reminiscent of bands like The Killers and Oasis.
