Daze of Laur is the new project of LA-based artist Laura Esgro, who has made their debut under the moniker with their single “Outlaw in the Sky.” The track is described as a “cinematic, ethereal Western fairy tale.
The name feels well earned, delivering a hypnotic blend of retro pop and rock with a bit of a cinematic Western vibe, like Lana Del Rey and Alexandra Savior blended into the world of Twin Peaks. There’s an otherworldly dreamlike quality that shines quite bright with a stronghold on the listener.
