Dust Archive is a project from Pordenone, Italy that publishes music found inside mysterious boxes. Its recorded onto tape spools, giving it a sound both “ancient and unheard.”
They have a new series of songs and have recently released number 2/8 in the series with “VS#2.” The result is a haunted ambient piece reminiscent of some of the work of William Basinski, delivering a haunted and isolating series of sounds that is also poignant and refined with a hopeful glow to it as well as a melancholic spirit.
