Los Angeles indie rockers Nightjacket have returned with their new single “All My Friends,” a blend of americana and dream pop, a song about the departure of one’s friends moving on without them.
The song does capture a melancholic and bittersweet anthemic dream pop / Americana rock blend in the song that has a strong emotive hold on the listener, while also maintaining a hopeful path forward.
Speaking on the track, the band’s Jordan Wiggins adds:
“We really tried to make the song a journey, so that it grows and has new elements that pop in and pull your attention as you listen along,” says Jordan Wiggins. “Hopefully it’s a ride for people, like rolling down Sunset Blvd., passing neon signs, peering into bars and turning in and out of alleyways until you get to where it’s bright again.”
