Honeycrush is the solo project of New York singer-songwriter and poet Alexandra Antonopoulos who has got our attention with their cover of Nirvana’s “Marigold.”
The b-side isn’t the usual song that is chosen for covers, and this is a fresh re-imagining that gives the track a bit of a new dimension – as a great cover should. There’s still a distinct 90s flavor about it, just in a bit of a unique sonic vantage point that constantly surprises.
